Gosh, everyone's overseas these days and I'm here pining my hopes on a calendar hoping that time would pass quicker. Yes, another 315 days. . that would be another 10 more months.
When I get out, the very first thing I'm embarking on is having my hair dyed blond with dark brown streaks. Oh yes, I'm gonna try it after contemplating for the longest time. I'll also go for a permanent tan and I'll probably achieve a decent looking torso (six-pec! LOL) by then. Ha-ha.. I don't know what's driving these weird fantasies but I'm definitely dwelling in a whole different world of swagger. Well, it's a tidy resolution to begin my countdown escapade.
Enough of low self-esteem. Ha-ha.
Anyway, today's a half day for all the chinese people in my company and I do not even have to finish this sentence for you to guess that the apparent reason was because it's nearing CNY. But, I never got to enjoy my half day off! Damn. In fact, I was working hard screwing and unscrewing the wheel nuts of some 5-tonner for oil leakage inspection when a group of us sent in the vehicles to Nee Soon Camp. The whole process took forever and we ended about 4.30pm.
But...... it's okay! I've taken enough leave to free me up till 2nd Feb. It's a long long long break!
My company's 2IC prepared a CNY cohesion for my company on Wednesday. What can I say, he's really a nice guy to have everything prepared for us. It's was a sumptuous meal.
It's a certain wonder how I managed to eked a living out of the miserable $420 bucks I receive every month. This pay covers everything right to the very detail of topping up my ez-link card. I don't usually use my personal stash for traveling and usually this amount would come from my parents.
I'm most likely getting on with my 'important work' before sleeping tonight. Yes, it's important and I'm really excited for it. It's gonna be my best efforts.

Today, I got my TV rack and green-striped floor rug from IKEA and my room's pretty done up now since the aftermath of the white-ants attack.
By the way, if you were puzzled by the previous entry, 'My life would suck without you' is a new song from Kelly Clarkson which I'm listening to and I'm totally glad she is back with her old sound.
Not many updates nowadays.

I've always resided by the common thought that a revocation in army will definitely be 8-5 p.m. but I was dead wrong. My friend (ex-camp mate) who recently got posted to another camp because of some injuries was made a store-man in a commando camp which also meant the discipline requirements went up way higher than that in my current camp. And the worst part is, it's a stay-in camp even for clerks.
I shudder to think the probability of me being in that situation. No, I will ORD in peace.
333 days. It'll end quickly alright?

The films series are a perfect epitome of american youth promiscuity that compromised good morals for laughter.

Gosh, it's the 4th of January already (for the record, it's 21 days shy of CNY).
Time does pass quickly when you are not in camp.
I met up with Colin yesterday for a talk and I guess I'm ready to begin my Effects ministry training. Hopefully by committing myself to a ministry will I find myself a larger fulfillment in life after being sucked out 5-days weekly by the army. Honestly, I'm not really vested in the thought of spending two years of my life not doing something for God. I think as long as I'm willing to let out one or two days of my weekends for the service preparation, I'll be going on just fine. Time management is the essence.
I've seen the new videos done for the services in the recent weeks and it really made my hairs stand on their ends. 'Mind-blowing' would be an understatement in this case.
I've finally seen videos that flow so well and the cohesion of different scenes seamless.
Before, I always thought our videos were too static for taste and have always tried finding ways to make it flow smoothly but to no avail. I guess so many more have risen to the occasion of breathing new life to the videos and ultimately taking them another notch higher.
I'm inspired.
Colin did ask me something that caught me off-guard in that same moment.
Well, honestly.. I think I can no longer measure up.
