Met up with my mum, Roy and Jarred after school. Well, it was an exciting Friday.
We went to Pizza Hut at Lucky Plaza for dinner before heading to the 930pm screening of the horror flick, ' Turistas'.
The cool thing was that my mum came along with us.
The movie ended approximately 1030pm. It was an average B grade offering but nonetheless, gruesome enough to be categorised under the M18 restriction.
We headed to the starbucks in Orchard road for drinks before heading home. I saw the big Spiderman 3 movie billboard above the Swensens 'tent' inspired shelter. I'm excited already for next Friday - Spiderman 3.

Is it that smile etched on one's face?
Is it by that single moment of finally getting that new big something you've always wanted?
Is it by chasing down every high to satisfy you?
Now what does it exactly means to be happy?

Well, I believe true joy comes from within.
Beautifully encapsulated in one's being, it just comes from the little things that makes life oh-so-great.
Sometimes people are just too busy pursuing happiness that they forget to appreciate life altogether. It's always so easy to see what's in other's hands and very much not be thankful for what is already in theirs.
Very much trying to fill some emptiness only to find all they had have spilt over.

So hold up. Catch your breath. Take a minute.
Thank God for that very sunshine that sips through your window sils every morning.
Thank God for the good friends around you that have lifted you up at some point in time.
Thank God for that whole new day.

I know I know, it's time I came out with a post containing words instead of photos only.
Everyone's getting Avril Lavigne's new album.. hmmm... maybe I should go grab mine too and see what's the big hooha about?

Nah, I'll probably save it for later when I am financially stable.
The person who came out with the Wikipedia; an online encyclopedia on anything and everything was a genius. I mean, there are literally everything you ever wanted to search for covered from head to tail. Sitting in class and browsing new information everyday has lasted me for the last 6 weeks and going.

I need some new entertainment in my life. You know, like every season you dig into something (or someone?) new.
Haha..
Let's keep my thoughts holy. I'll go grab a book to read.

Finally free from the incessant nagging of my FYP supervisor - at least till next wednesday because he is away for some studies commitments.
I sat in front of my desk's computer;thinking of the day's end before it even began. This Thursday's morning seemed sour like every other morning because I have to drag my tired self to school based on sheer will.

Will attachment leave me in a worse state?

And so, I retreated to outside class along the corridors; strolling along the toilet area and down a row of tutorial rooms.
I laid my one of my prying hand on the handle of the door situated right at the end of the walkway. It was open.
Quickly meddled some switches to the aircons, I made my way right to the very end of the empty room and slept there.
My refuge.

Sadly, I only discovered that I could do this 6 weeks after FYP started; two days before the official school reopening and before the room saw itself filled with filthy, gawky students.

I slept for two hours before returning back to my forsaken seat in the lab and went on with my unfinished work.

Perseverence.


That very same evening, I had followup with Zelia and Krystal. It was a fun time and hopefully they learnt something new.

There comes days where you just pull everything from within and DECIDE to be happy.

These days, the sun kicks in and the good guys win.
Take comfort no matter what cos God the biggest good guy and He WILL see us through.
For once, put away your worries and celebrate life.
