28th Aug: Older by one

I had quite an enjoyable day hanging out with the bunch who had no school today. We caught a movie at Orchard Cineleisure before heading down to my dad's restaurant at Bugis for dinner. Oh my, it was great fun.
Apologies to those who weren't invited because it was quite a last minute thing going on.

this is sooo thick-skinned... but I like.

Nothing much happened today. I was hoping it would rain but the heavens didn't open today.
It was basically slacking at home and downloading another 2 movies and coincidentally, both were comedies. "Dude, where's my car" a year 2000 offering by Ashton Kutcher and Owen Wilson. This movie was hilarious. The other one would be "Nacho Libre" with lead star Jack Black. I haven't seen one yet though. I think I shall read a book while waiting for the "dude" video to be converted into a suitable video format before uploading it into my ZEN vision.

I was watching the movie, "You, me and Dupree" over my ZEN vision: M. Oh yes, before you go salivating over that mini gadget of mine, let me bring you back to my point.

The movie's an average chucklefest rather than a belly-laugh factory which is portrayed in the different media.
Ah! Lucky for me, I downloaded it instead of paying $9.50 to watch it at a cinema when it hits the screens sometime soon.

Oh yeah, the movie's not officially opened yet.
Haha.. sorry Kate Hudson, it didn't work for me! Tough luck.

Speaking of rain, I really miss the latter!
Yes, I love it whenever it rains because it washes away all the heat from the sun and brings about a soothing effect. It also brings an emotional pleasure whenever it pours pitter-patter especially with the melodic thunder coming after it. I know, weird me.

My exams have officially ended.
I could literally hear the hallelujah chorus right about now.

Now, what should I do?
Go shopping? Hit the movies? or both maybe? Haha.. after all, it's a public affair.
I wanna bring some nice people out.
I've got lots of time under my belt to decide.
Maybe I might just fly to the moon for a visit.

A few more hours.
One more night of studying.
It'll be it.
The day I go mad and crazy and become a lunatic all at the same time.
I'm gonna hit town,
watch a couple of movies
hang out with a couple of friends
and just waste my life away for a little while.

I deserve it cos' I've studied hard.
Bleah. Whatever.

Most people are like this don't you think? Many things in life come a little too easily and people often take them for granted until the day that particular thing starts to fade away. Often only then, the sense of loss begins to snake up into that person almost too unknowingly; encapsulating that person with it's vile poison. The vagaries of emotion starts to occur and then ...a sense of defeat.

Bad memories, something everyone have at some point of their lives. Truth of the matter is, one need not stay in that upsetted emotional equilibrium all his days. He can stand up once more and make new memories; good ones.
Life's like that. Walk on. Fight on.
That is the make of a fighter. Nothing's going to bring him down.
Nothing.

I've noticed that almost 90 percent of celebrities (I make my reference to those caucasian ones) have the facile solution to work off those pounds. It seems like they almost have the ability to turn fat or thin at will. Pregnant singers come off without a glitch; almost immaculate shortly after they give birth. Beer-bellied actors come off looking all mean and nasty whenever it is acting season for them in a twinkle of an eye. Ah, those workouts must be the reasons.. but then again, they are always so successful in these workouts... sometimes it makes people a lil' jealous.

HAHA.. crappy.

I'll head to New York city someday.

I'm not a very big enthusiast of SGIDOL but I do follow the show nonetheless, hoping that Singapore would choose better this time and have us a real star. A true blue SINGING idol.

It's his birthday on 16th Aug 2006.

Today. Theoretically, he wasn't born in the year 2006 if you haven't known that already. Unless he is a baby produced by 'Chemical-X' similar to that of the powerpuff girls, which sometimes I am tempted to believe.

Nonetheless, I want to wish him a very happy and God blessed birthday.

Haha.. I love my mum. She got me this as an early birthday gift. 13 days early to be exact, with no pun intended.

11th August 2006.
Exactly 17 days before I scream my lungs out in jubilation.

Now on to the other side of things, Jeremy has defeated 6 common test papers and awaits the biggest opponent yet on the 23rd of August- the OOAD exam that's supposed to take the students' breath away literally. Whatever it is, it ain't gonna do much damage with my transcendental run-down.

Now I get to have a little wee bit more rest with that one week interval.
