I see the day, finally.

I'm finally back on the internet after a few hysterical moments of trying to fix the issue with my modem. And when the Yahoo! Homepage's slowly washed across the screen, I knew all heaven was on my side. I was back to access the whole interminable net of websites, audio files and down to the very-irritating
WhoLivesNearYou spam e-mail. My return was accoladed by that blinking computer sign on the bottom right. Like a soldier fully armed, surrender was never an option.
I mean, with technology so in tuned with our lives, no one could ever survive a day 'internet-less' without having fall into a psychotic spasm a few times. Oh, I could literally hear the Hallelujah chorus playing right about now.
Whoever made the Internet was a genius.I had a great time with Garrett at Food Republic and followed up by a refreshing cup of iceblended mocha at Star Bucks down Orchard road. Haha...
I just finished the Roald Dahl penned adult fiction 'Mrs.Bixby and the Colonel's coat'. Addressing the topic on infidelity and how the husband is usually made the cuckold. However some men may just turn the tables over their monsterous spouse and the
dirty dog (third party). Very interesting indeed.

Ego-trips is not my thing

I had quite a wonderful time jumping to the gyrating beats of the
Youth Alive band hailing all the way from Australia. All the lights and sounds hovering over my head; that never stopped the prying thought of having common tests the following week from entering. It's definitely ill-preparedness hence forth the worry.
Picture wisps of dark clouds hanging over my head. Okay, I shall use these two days to mug. Hopefully the clouds will not start wailing. But I'm sure with enough practice and God's help, everything will be alright although time's trickling with each moment I speak. =)

Sagacious question
Friday, June 23, 2006
Check this out:
It's Friday. Yes, the favourite amongst the other 'less superior' days of the week. The only one a person can definitely look back and say, "Hey, what a long week it has been!" and look ahead drooling in frantic exclaimation,"Behold the rest I'm going to have the next two days. I'm going to sleep and sleep and sleep and sleep and sleep." Pardon the pleonasm.
Today also marked the last day of the study break I'm bestowed with.
Well, what have I done so far? That left me a big question mark. I hope the luminaries of the skies would come by waving their magic wands over my head; enlightening me of this question which bugs me non-stop.
Sad to say, I seem to have lost the ability now to blog anything that screams the word s'Interesting- I want to read more' right into your face. Where are the visual feasts? Oh wait, I think I gave you one 2 entries back.. remember the Matrix one? Yeah, go print it out and paste it on your wall. If you haven't got any idea what I'm driving at, it's really okay because it's 5am and I ought to be sleeping, right about now.
The day's finally done and if I could capture and immortalise the moment, I would love to show you my droopy eyes (do eyes droop? what's 'droop' anyway?!). Oh wait, I just remembered that I do have a camera phone.... ahh.. whatever.
There I go, making my first step onto that heavenly thing called 'The Bed'. Carefully lifting my turgid body and slowly retiring to slumber. Oh wait, I think I'm dreaming already.
Goodnight world!
*pops head out of clouds- Remember friends, it's BAD to sleep late unless and otherwise you want to cause your bio-clock to be in topsy-turvy and garner yourself some black patches around the eyes.

A day of mine
Thursday, June 15, 2006
My phone rang incessantly this afternoon and it was a while before I picked the call up at last.
"Hey, do you want to go to Novena to eat?"drifted that husky (okay, maybe not) voice from the other side. It seemed all familiar. Ah, then memory came back like the rushing winds... it was DARRYL KHOO. A person whom I used to detest yet liked being around with. I do not know how that works out. Go figure.
Well, it was 3 more hours before the movie started. Oh yes, let me fill you in. I was contemplating watching a movie in the evening, say around 7pm. Since I had extra time, why not follow Khoo out for that couple of hours. After all, I haven't seen this slit-eyed, tanned and possessing a mouth that stinks from a couple of miles away-friend of mine in like years. Alright, I was joking on the mouth part.
We took the 851 bus down to Novena and stopped slightly after the shop that sells chicken rice; carrying an aura that boasts superiority to the other stalls that stood beside it. Indeed, the chicken rice was quite NICE. Yes, double portions for everyone. We ate and chatted just like we did back in the old days. Oh yeah, Zhiliang and Joshua (Darryl's brother) were present too. Well, nothing could draw my attention away from those sliced chicken lustered with some golden sauce that makes it so mouth-watering.
Zhiliang headed to City Hall to find his 'Bullion gang' afterwards while Darryl, his brother and I took a train to Cineleisure, Somerset to catch the movie 'Garfield 2'.
It was quite a pleasant movie and everything went well except for the part where cinema seats had their head-rest a little too low for my beautiful head.
Darryl's parents came to fetch us afterwards.

First day of holidays

One of the best things about having school vacation is to be able to tune in to your favourite storybook and enter a whole different world.
Roald Dhal best selections it shall be.
I should better my English with this.
