We went to celebrate Sean Ethan's birthday at Bugis Junction today.
It was total fun throughout. The laughter never seem to cease.
Haha..Well, I've inserted some the captured moments below.

Apparently Seoul Garden didn't have available seats till 8.30pm so we went to my dad's restaurant nearby to rest. Yeah! The short visit garnered us some complementary stuff from the kitchen.

Finally, we grabbed the reserved tables and it wasn't long before food was piled up in every single corner. Munch, munch,munch..























Still munching. Well, you see... one of the rules of the house was that we would have to cough out 5 dollars extra for wasting food. Even if our stomachs fail, the show must go on. Munch.. munch.

Time passed in a twinkle of an eye and the time came when the birthday cake emerged from the kitchen. It was a surprise for Sean. Smile dude!

I was listening to the song 'Sing of Your great love' earlier which brought back memories of teencell in Henderson a few years ago. Of how we used to worship and linger in God's sweet presence for that many hours. I couldn't help but leave my work aside and start worshipping Him all over again.

I've just got back my semestral results

One A (>= 80%),
Two B+ (75%-80%),
One C (60%-65%),
Three C+ (65%-70%)

...that left me quite happy. Thank God.

I was tuning in to a radio station earlier on when they received a caller who told the DJ in a rather depressive voice that her mum,a teacher of a particular school was publicly mocked in a blog entry of a student studying there. However, the caller(girl) said that she would forgive and love the person who did that as God says we should love our enemies. Now that led to a change in the whole atmosphere as the DJ's tone of voice changed because he was rudely appalled by the most interesting thing that has just took place. It wasn't long before he began asking her a series of questions like, ' Why do you want to do that? Don't you hate the person?' before labelling her as the most forgiving caller since.

Now, doesn't that speak of something?
The world expects you to strike back when someone hits you or what is better known as 'a tit for a tat'. Most people in this society harbour a selfish attitude that screams out 'me, myself and I' and have never held into consideration things like loving others.
Taking the above incident for example, the DJ expects the caller to have had lashed out at her adversary but was shocked to receive a response that contrasted with his expections.

I guess that is what being a Christian is about- Loving people.
It really takes a big hearted person to still love another even if he/she have hurt the person badly. And why do we want to do that? Well, if God can forgive a wretched like us, so much more we must do the same to the one who has hurt you. It's okay to get angry with someone but never let it dwell in you.
Forgiveness is the key.

'Mirror mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?'
and so the line went.

Sometimes, many people are dying to be in somebody else's shoes. Plagued by insecurity, they are clearly blinded by the media and the whole masquerade stung along with it.
'Don't look at me' they would cry out because they feel that they can never fit the perfect image casted upon that silver screen.

Some do achieve it with time, others weep silently in despair.
Everyone wants to be accepted in someway.

Giving up on oneself and on life completely was the option taken once they feel that redemption is out of reach, holding on to the belief that life went by just to deceive them.
And so they cried out - 'Why?'

Well,I guess life doesn't always throw the best dishes at everyone. Some are born with it, some are not. What is most important is feeling good about yourself and accepting yourself for who you are. You will not be brought down by words if you do not allow them to. Remember, Hollywood is never permanent. They buy your dreams so they can sell your souls. Do not succumb to their lies.

Today marked the end of the third Sunday out of eight miracle Sundays we're having. Well, what's up today?
Banana Splits, of course! Haha, I could never forget how those pleasurable things waved me with a smile. And the next thing I knew that my diet program had gone down the gutter.

I was actually quite pleased to see people like Shurn, Kesh, Yi rui and Zhiliang turn up today. I did not expect Yi rui to come but he did anyway and I believe that it has to be God behind it.

Praise be to Him!

Sometimes, people are constantly too caught up with the different things in life that they fail to stop to realise how wonderful life itself is, let alone thank God for it. I was having a chat with an old friend whom I've not met in ages. He asked me, 'Hey, how's life treating you?'
That line got me thinking for a while because it gave an impression of life having a control over us while on the contrary, we are the ones controlling life! Yup, you've heard that right.
How life turns out for different individuals depends on the different decisions made to mould it. There are some who blame everything else other than themselves for the mess that they are in because they fail to realise of the blunder in judgement they made two days ago. Some others accept every other bad thing that comes their way, arrowing 'fate' as the cause. The remaining percentage are the people who sees the problem and take charge of it- having a fervent refusal to give up. Alas, these are the people who are making every second of their lives worthwhile.

Life's what YOU make it.
Don't give up and don't give in.

Everyone is waiting for a cause to die for. While some follow the glitz and glitter of the MTV world, others are still waiting for something big to come by in life. I've found a cause to die for and that's Jesus. Lies in me is that unspeakable joy and satisfaction from loving Him and doing everything I do in response to the best He gave on the cross.
Jesus is not part of my life, He is my life.
