Beauty, oh sweet beauty...
I beg a boon of thee...
wouldn't you be so kind to give me piece of you?

Memories that never fade

I was going through the numerous Friendster profiles when I found one that belonged to my primary school classmate, Alan Kwek. He sure has changed a lot and it took me quite a while to recognise him.Haha.. If i'm not wrong, he is studying in ACJC now. I also chanced upon Eugene Aw's one. It was as if he turned into another somebody during this whole period with that totally different look... but still, I recognised him through his eyes and face structure! Bahh..
It's been 5 years since Catholic High Primary School Graduation 1999. That was the last I ever saw of my friends. Sad to say, I do miss them now! Aww.. haha.. and that school. My brothers are still studying there though.
Haha.. I do hope to get in contact with any of them... Lots of catching up to do.
I've uploaded some photos of the graduation day. Nostalgia reigned my whole being while looking through them.
Boy, don't we look cute as a pie?
Me, Xuan Rui and Alan Kwek (We were in the middle of our chicken wing meal =p)
Posing for the camera with Andrew and Eugene. Oh my, that pants of mine is sure high up there!
Smile.

"Wah.. so no life ah!"
These words came out from my friend's mouth when I told her I was heading to church.
This led me to stop in my tracks for a couple of seconds before letting out a grin.
I thought in my heart, 'Little did she know that God and church was my more than life...'

Excellence is a great motivator. People who desires excellence-and work hard to achieve it-are almost always responsible. And when they give their all, they live at peace.
These people never protest,"That's not my job!"
They are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
The ultimate?
They produce results regardless of the situation.
A finisher.

Breathe in life

I caught the movie 'The Brother's Grimm' alone earlier on today at Plaza Singapura. Well, this was my second time watching a movie alone... and I've enjoyed it in fact.
Haha..It turned out to be quite a pleasant show but it didn't have enough to leave any lasting impression on me. The show ended at 9.30pm.
I thought of heading home at first but decided to take a stroll down Orchard road anyway.
I was admiring the whole scene while trotting down the hard cement.
The lights, the buildings, the people...
Breathe in the air of the night life!
There was such a bustle in the on-goings that it seemed as though the skyscrapers had a life of it's own! Haha! It was indeed the heartbeat of the shopping paradise in Singapore.
I need clothes!Haha..I'm probably gonna purchase a few pieces from Orchard.
"Hey you, yeah you! Don't run.. I only need a few hundreds..."
Haha.. Just Joking. =p

Woot*
I'm finally done with examinations. That marked the end of one semester. Well, time sure passed quicker than a jet plane. Nevermind about that, what matters now is that I'm so excited with the generous amount of time in my hands.
Do ask me out, I will gladly accede your request!
haha.. it's my first time having holidays early. Usually, the breaks would only fall during the last two months of the year.
Anyway, I've spent sometime creating a wallpaper for the zone.
Do please your eyes with it's stunning design. hahaha! click for a bigger view

I was taking a listen to a song by Corrinne May just the other day and it certainly invoked many thoughts in me. The song spoke of how there would be an angel amongst the many faces we come across everyday. Someone who is there keeping a look out for you but yet you are oblivious to it. The angel in disguise.
Strip off the trappings and I guess what you will find in every human is a desire to be loved, somehow. A desire that cries out. While many live from one relationship to the next, others try to numb their pain by occupying themselves with work up to their neck.
All these eventuate to nothing but an unsatisfied appetite. An appetite that can only be quenched by the love of Jesus.
A love that gives. A love that embraces. A love that never fails.
I felt like an imbecile before... but now I know that I have found it.
Every memory of walking out the front door
I found the photo of the Friend that I was looking for
Its time to say, time to say it
Goodbye, goodbye
to everything that held me down...

Time check: 4.05 a.m
Oh my, this is sure going deep into the night over to the next morning. And what exactly do you think I'm doing at this ungodly hour? Studying of course! Or also affectionately known as 'Mugging'. Hmm.. well, this week passed by in a twinkle of an eye while I was still under my books. I had Multimedia and production paper earlier... wow, it was pure memory work!
I'm having Digital Media Design paper and Electronics paper later at 8.30am and 2pm later in the day respectively. Initially, I was thinking of going to bed but I decided not to anyway because there ain't any time left to sleep. I'm not done with my memory work!
Dark rings encircle my eyes.
This is one of my rare study marathons... or is it mara-
chiong? Goodness, trust me to think of that!
I'm putting my stake on an A for the Digital Media paper and a B at least for the electronics one.

Top 5 phrases you do not want to hear from your flight pilot5. We really are low cost value flying, because we've done away with what we call "frills and extras" for example RADAR and 'engine maintenance'
4. Thanks for joining me for my first ever flight, and also thanks to my online graduating school,
www.beapilotquickandeasy.com3. Wishing a happy 6th birthday to my son, on board with me. If you feel some sudden turbulence later don't worry, it's just his birthday present - I am letting him have a go.
2. Has anyone actually been to Bangkok before? If so, could you please come up to the cockpit and point out the runway to me?
1. All the passengers on the left side...could you please look out and tell me, are those actual flames or has the engine just stopped?
